Act of drawing - workshops and laboratories is a non-profit organization that promotes experimentation and research in drawing.
It is particularly interested in the involvement of the body in the act of drawing from both a physical and phenomenological point. It offers artistic workshops for students of arts schools or the general public, both in Belgium and abroad. It also organizes research laboratories where artists and professionals from various disciplines are invited to reflect and experiment on issues related to the artistic practice of drawing from a transdisciplinarity perspective. |
Act of drawing - workshops and laboratories is led by two professors, Saskia Weyts and Réjean Dorval, responsible for the Drawing option of the Ecole Supérieure d'Arts - Académie des Beaux-Arts de Tournai in Belgium: and by dancer and choreographer Sandra Vincent, who leads, among other projects, the artistic accompaniment program ALMA in Brussels.
