This workshop presents itself as a laboratory of sensitive experiments involving the body in the act of tracing and drawing.
Guided by a thematic and progressive exploration of the various potentialities of the body to produce a trace, the participants follow a path allowing them to live and meet the gesture of drawing as close as possible to the sensitive presence of their own body considered here in its entirety. This workshop unfolds the idea that drawing is perhaps above all a particular way of relating the body to the space surrounding it. |
The emphasis is on the importance of involving the body in the act of drawing, allowing the participants to affirm the singularity of their gesture and to experience drawing in an unusual dimension in order to broaden their creativity.
Over five thematic half-days, the participants approach drawing as a laboratory of experiments opening to them spaces of freedom that are more and more extensive: from gesture to movement, from application to spontaneity, from small to large format, from individual experiments to collective experiments.
